Leopard stalks hotel lobby at famous hill station in north India


A wild leopard stalked into a reception area at a famous hotel in northern India on January 8, fortunately not finding any guests or staff.

The leopard spent around 15 minutes roaming the hotel lobby in Balorganj area in Mussorie in Uttarakhand state. The beast first arrived at the main gallery area around 6:45pm, before moving to the lawn of hotel and later entering the reception area of hotel.

The reception was empty at the time, and afterwards some people saw it coming out of the hotel and running towards the forest, the hotel management was informed.

Mussorie is a hill station situated on a mountain top and is a frequent filming location for many Bollywood movies, with many Bollywood stars staying at hotels like this one during filming.
