Leopard takes down baby antelope in lightning-fast attack in South Africa

A lightning-fast leopard was seen hunting down a baby duiker antelope in Sabie Sands Park in South Africa, taking it down in a flurry of motion.

In exclusive footage, Louis van Wyk managed to capture the moments leading up to and including the takedown of a baby duiker – a type of small antelope – that was hiding in the grey scrub.

The leopard, showing immense speed and agility, initially stalked its prey but only needed a few seconds once the full attack was launched, taking down the little deer right in front of the camera.
