Lightning storm hits the UK after country's summer heatwave
Dashcam footage captured the moment lightning struck in and around Birmingham in the early hours of Wednesday morning (July 24).
An impressive light show was given to those who were still awake as the light storm travelled north through the country.
The extreme weather came after intense heat blanketed the United Kingdom and Europe.
