Migrants relocated to new shelter at Tijuana border

Migrants in Tijuana have been transferred to a new shelter after unsanitary conditions and overcrowding forced the closure of the sport complex they were previously staying in.

This video, filmed on December 2, shows the camp set up at a former concert venue in El Barretal, located in the eastern part of the city.

At least 3,000 are currently residing at the new grounds, which authorities are saying has "better installation" being indoors, but is also further away from the US-Mexico border.

Human rights groups have accused US authorities of creating a crisis at the border by limiting processing at ports of entry.
