Mom gives birth to daughter during chemo

When I got diagnosed with cancer when I was 22 weeks pregnant with my second daughter, I was scared.

Was she going to be ok? Was I going to be ok?

I wanted to watch my girls grow up, and that future felt threatened. I needed to fight. Fight for my girls, for my husband, and for our family - the tea parties, the dance parties, the birthday parties, and all the normal life moments in between.

I’m half way through my cancer treatment fighting my battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, but this was a huge milestone for us! Lively Joan is here and I love being her mom already. My two daughters are my dream girls. 💕
