Mom starts April Fool's day with prank cereal for her son's breakfast

A confused boy stabbed at his cereal on April Fool's morning before he realised that the hardened cereal was a part of a prank set up by his mother.

According to the mother, her son was hard to trick, but says when it came to this successful prank: "He fell for it hook, line and sinker". The prank lead to the son no longer letting his mother pour his cereal.

The trick required some preparation, the bowl of cereal was left to harden in the freezer the night before. To make the breakfast look inconspicuous, pieces of cereal were sprinkled on top the next morning as well as a small splash of milk.
