Moove out the way! Motorbike rider escapes serious injury after collision with cow

This is the dramatic moment the rider of a motorbike collided with a cow as it crossed a road in India.

Security camera footage, captured on October 6 in Puttalam, shows the cow walk out into the path of the rider who is unable to brake in time and slams into the animal.

The collision sends both the rider and the cow crashing down onto the road.

The clip shows both the motorist and the animal quickly get to their feet.

The man was treated for minor injuries.

There was no word on the state of the cow but it walked away from the crash without obvious injury.
