My Deaf Dog's Meal Routine
Occurred on May 25, 2026 / Arizona, USA
Info from Licensor: "The owner is a speech therapist and communicates with her deaf dog entirely through sign language and hand signals. When instructing the dog to go to her kennel, the owner uses the ASL sign for 'jail' as the cue for 'kennel.' The dog then calmly walks into her kennel and sits. As the owner pours food into the bowl, the dog is given a visual hand signal to 'wait' and remains still. Only after the owner gives a thumbs-up signal is the dog released to eat."
