Never Get Between a Bear and His Clubs

Occurred on July 11, 2026 / Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada

Info from Licensor: "We were golfing the south 18 holes of Golden Ears Golf Course in Pitt Meadows, BC. We were on the 12th hole teeing off. We noticed behind us that a bear had come out of the bush to our right and was wandering over to our cart. It began investigating and must have picked up a scent of some trail mix in the bag of clubs attached to the golf cart. It began trying to open it up with its teeth, and when that didn't seem to work, resorted to yanking the entire bag off its straps. It carried the bag 50-100 feet before smacking itself on its head with the clubs and dropping them."
