New Zealand TV station staff observe two minutes of silence for victims of last week's terror attacks

Members of a New Zealand TV station stopped working to observe two minutes of silence in memory of those who died and were injured in last week's terrorist attacks in Christchurch.

New Zealand Television (TVNZ) staff took a break to mourn the fifty dead and dozens injured and mark a week since the attack.

The silence included the Muslim call to prayer that we can hear in the video.

New Zealand's Prime Minister said reforms to the country's gun laws are underway in the wake of the attacks.

A 28-year-old Australian man has been charged with murder in relation to the incidents.
