Overjoyed pitbull greets US owner after return from one-year deployment

This rescued pitbull was incredibly happy when she met her owner who had just returned from a one-year deployment in Kuwait.

The pitbull, named Harvey, was adopted five years ago when her current owner found her on the streets of Memphis after being cruelly disfigured.

Footage shows Harvey excitedly playing with its owner at their home in Memphis on May 19.

The filmer told Newsflare: ''Harvey greets her dad when he comes home from a year-long deployment.''

''She was obviously not ready for this homecoming. She can’t control her emotions when she sees him.
