Owl Survives Impact with SUV

Info from Licensor: "I was driving home from my girlfriend's house when a large bird flew up from in front of me causing me to incidentally hit it with my vehicle. I had assumed that it died on impact as the feathers disappeared shortly after impact, however, to my surprise, when I arrived home, I found big yellow owl eyes peering at me through the grill of my SUV. Somehow the force of the impact and the wind caused the bird to fall through into the space behind the grill. It appeared uninjured, however, I wasn't sure what to do about it till calling Animal Control. The owl turned out to be a Great Horned owl. After the owl was removed, the Animal Control officer took the bird to a nearby rehabilitation center."
