Palestinian icon Ahed Tamimi speaks at Palestine liberation demonstration

Palestinian 'freedom-fighter' icon Ahed Tamimi speaks outside Downing Street at the Nabka: National Demonstration for Palestine inciting cheers and applause from the large crowd.

Ms Tamimi, 17, was incarcerated for aggravated assault when she was just 16 after she was filmed slapping an Israeli soldier who was at the entrance of her home. She was sentenced to eight months in prison and released to cheering crowds last July.

The footage shows Ms Tamimi stating "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free!" to massive cheers from the watching audience.

The filmer then captures Ms Tamini hugging fellow protesters with one woman wearing a black headscarf placing a heartfelt kiss on the young activists head.
