Patisserie Valerie in Salisbury closed as chain goes into administration


Patisserie Valerie in Salisbury in the UK was closed on Wednesday, a day after the chain went into administration.

A letter on the cafe's door confirmed the closure and that the company was in the hands of administrators.

The collapse of the company puts more than 3,000 jobs at risk.

About 70 of the cafe group’s nearly 200 stores and concessions were due to close immediately, with the loss of about 900 jobs.
