People flee from petrol station in southern China as massive landslide approaches


People fled from a petrol station when a massive landslide crashed down a nearby mountain in southern China.

The dramatic video, shot in Peng'an county in Sichuan province on July 18, shows rocks, muds and trees tumbling down a mountain near a residential house and a petrol station.

Four people can be seen running away from the petrol station and a woman abandoned her car to escape.

A residential house, two motorbikes and a car were hit by rocks and damaged. While the petrol storage equipment was broken, causing petrol to leak out.

According to reports, another landslide hit the county at 5:00 am today (July 19) seeing huge rocks blocked a road.

Police arrived on-site to evacuate nearby residents. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
