Piebald Whitetail Deer in Maine
Occurred on April 2, 2026 / Maine, USA
Info from Licensor: "A nearly all-white piebald deer in Maine, grazing in a farm field, senses me sneaking up on it. An uncommon genetic mutation called leucism creates white markings on various mammals, sometimes in patches, but more rarely an almost completely white coat. It was a very thrilling moment for me as a photographer."
