Police escort citizen from St. Mary's Street cordon in Cardiff during 'ongoing incident'

Police escort a citizen out of the cordon on St. Mary's Street in Cardiff as they respond to an 'ongoing incident' in the city centre.

Staff from local shops and residents of apartments in the area have also been told to leave their homes, according to local media.

The filmer, Ryan James, says the reason for the cordon remains unknown and that people are remaining fairly calm.

"Besides the cordon everyone is just curious and milling about," he says. "Even the police seem fairly calm but I suppose it's their job."
