Police helicopters circle over suspected burglars standing on northwest London roof

Heavy armed Police and a helicopter are in a lengthy standoff with two suspected burglars who fled on a roof when officers saw them tampering with a motorcycle in northwest London.

The two men have now been on the roof at Kingsgate Road, near Kilburn, for more than six hours.

In the first clip shot around 23:30 GMT, we can see a helicopter flying over the scene. The second video was shot around 7pm GMT.

More than a dozen police officers are reportedly on the scene after a member of the public reportedly saw one of the men carrying a gun.

A cordon was put in place and police advised local residents to evacuate the area according to witnesses.
