Rescued sloth bear steps out of cage for freedom
A wild sloth bear was released back into the wild after getting caught wandering around a village in southern India.
Footage shows the moment the bear makes a mad rush to freedom after stepping out of a cage.
Residents of Kaikatti village called on forest officials after seeing a sloth bear walking around in the streets.
Forest officials rushed to the village and managed to capture the bear on March 23. The bear was later release in a forest nearby.
