Robot makeup assistant presented at China International Import Expo

A robot that can do makeup for women was spotted at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai yesterday (November 5).

The video shows a robotic arm applying different cosmetics to a mannequin's face before replacing them to their holsters and cases.

The first China International Import Expo opened on November 5th and will last for six days until November 10th.

Chinese president Xi Jinping said of the event: "[The Expo] demonstrates China's consistent position of supporting the multilateral trading system and promoting free trade. It is a concrete action taken by China to advance an open world economy and support economic globalization."
