Schoolchildren stage sit-down protest outside UK Houses of Parliament
Hundreds of schoolchildren across the UK walked out of class today (February 15) to protest climate change.
Footage shows young demonstrators gathering at Parliament Square in London this morning.
The students can be seen sitting on the pavement, bringing traffic to a standstill.
The strike was inspired by Swedish student Greta Thunberg who protests outside her country’s parliament to demand the government to take action on climate change.
