Scuttling Octopus Camouflages in Tide Pool

Occurred on August 21, 2021 / Port Angeles, Washington, USA

Info from Licensor: "I've been visiting tide pools my entire life first in Alaska and now in the Pacific Northwest. In all the years I've been exploring intertidal lands I've NEVER experienced anything like this. As I watched waves crash into his seemingly soft body this incredible octopus scooted effortlessly around his pool at one point coming up to where I was standing, reaching out a tentacle as if to say hi and then sneaking away to blend back into his environment. The tide pools at the Salt Creek Recreation area are some of the most vibrant and surprising I have ever seen."
