Senior dog who swims until he collapses given life jacket in Arizona

This is the adorable moment an elderly dog was gifted a life jacket because he swims until he collapses in the family pool.

Footage from yesterday (June 4) shows 15-year-old Papa, a Dachshund mix paddling around the pool with the full buoyancy of the floating vest.

The filmer explained: "He's an old man now so he can't swim like he used to, but he doesn't know that or isn't willing to accept it.

"I'm really glad we found this life jacket so he can still have his fun without worrying us so much.

"I'm really scared now that he is getting older and I don't know how much longer he will be around.

"It's really nice to see him having fun swimming again."
