Storm brings pea-sized hail to Phoenix, Arizona suburb

Residents near Phoenix, Arizona, experienced a hail storm on Sunday, October 7 as severe weather descended upon the state.

This video, filmed at a home in Peoria near 107th Avenue and Happy Valley Road, shows pea-sized hail raining dow.

In metro Phoenix, heavy rain produced flooding for parts of the area. In the evening, hail was spotted in the west Valley, a local media source reported. Snow was also reported in many parts of northern Arizona, with some areas seeing as much as six inches of snow.

The storm is forecast to pass as the week begins, but authorities warn that chances of rain remain.
