Strange buffalo with three horns found at cattle auction in Vietnam

A buffalo was seen at a cattle sale in north Vietnam having a third horn growing on the centre of its head last month (March 28).

The buffalo, already noted to be larger than normal, appeared in a cattle auction in Bắc Kạn province and it became the focus of people's attention. Many were excited to see the buffalo with a strange horn, in addition to its two ordinary horns.

It is believed in Vietnam that a strange horn as well as a large physique will bring good fortune to the owner. Consequentially The unique buffalo with its strange horn were sold for $3,000 USD.

This was more than double the cost of a normal buffalo, as usually a healthy animal costs between $1,000 USD and $1,500 USD.
