Stunning aerial footage shows large school of fish weaving through a group of manatees

Stunning aerial footage captured off the coast of St Petersburg, Florida yesterday (Friday) shows a huge school of fish swimming between a group of endangered manatees.

"While I was canoeing, I noticed a large group or mullet passing through the area and there were also a lot of manatees around," said the filmer, Michael McCarthy.

"I launched my drone, which has a zoom lens so I can keep my distance and not spook the wildlife with the drone but still get a close view," he added.

"The mullet were weaving through about 20 manatees that were along the shoreline," McCarthy said.
