Sweet and savoury? Shop makes chicken nugget ice cream rolls

An inventive ice cream maker in Ireland turns a fast food staple of chicken nuggets into a creamy new cold treat in this bizarre cooking fusion video.

The clip, filmed in XXI Ice’s shop in Dundalk on May 4, shows the skilful ice cream roll makers invent a new flavour using chicken nuggets and cream.

The filmer described his creation process as: “We turn everyone’s favourite McDonald’s treat into creamy ice cream.”

The video has come with some reaction from both McDonald’s and ice cream fans, with one commenting online: “oh no, I wouldn’t like that! I’d try it but not sure!”
