Tephra From Kilauea Volcano Falls From Sky
Occurred on January 24, 2026 / Hawaiʻi, USA
Info from Licensor: "Kilauea volcano erupted with fountains of 1500 feet and higher during Episode 41, lofting tephra -- rapidly cooled lava -- nearly 40,000 feet into the air, and then dropping it on Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the surrounding towns of Volcano and Pahoa, and Highway 11. The National Park was closed for the second time in history due to this natural disaster, and ash and other deposits fell as far away as Hilo. This video contains clips of tephra falling on vehicles and Highway 11, as well as Kilauea's massive plume."
