Tesla Autopilot Detects Ducks Crossing the Highway

Occurred on November 11, 2019 / Gisborne, New Zealand

Info from Licensor: "Tesla Model 3 Owner - Autopilot
Driving between township of Gisborne and Bacchus Marsh - highway, 100 kph - Due to shadow could not recognise the ducks crossing by myself - Autopilot recognized, sounded the alarm and started to swerve/brake, then disengaged.
The ducks survived. Action starts at 33 seconds. Various camera angles. If it wasn't for the Autopilot function, I think the ducks would not have survived. The video is from front of car."
