Thai Dr Dolittle hand feeds hungry chameleon in his garden

This man has formed a Dr. Dolittle style bond with lizards in his garden - which take food straight from his hand.

Erich Fahrni holds out the dried snack for the chameleons which he sees in his garden in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.

Footage captured on June 14 shows how the tiny critter walks over nervously and scampers onto his finger, before grabbing the food in its mouth.

Erich said: ''I didn't ever pet the lizards or force them, they just come over to me. Every time I notice a lizard I feed it worms and it comes to see me. I like the animals being free in my garden.''
