Thousands march in Colombia after deadly car bombing

Thousands of people marched in Colombia on Sunday (Jan 20) to condemn the deadly car bombing that killed 20 police academy cadets and the alleged attacker.

The Thursday bombing was blamed on rebels affiliated with the National Liberation Army (ELN), dealing a big blow to the
nation's peace talks aiming to end more than five decades of fighting by the Marxist-inspired group.

In Bogota, where this video was filmed, the day ended with a religious service in memory of the victims, all between the ages of 17 and 22.

The government and some opposition leaders joined the march and walked through the Colombian capital to support to the National Police and the families of the victims and injured, and reject the violence and terrorism.
