Time-lapse footage shows demonstrators marching in Hong Kong against extradition bill

Residents of Hong Kong lined the streets yesterday (June 9) to protest a recent bill which would extradite suspected criminals to mainland China.

The footage captured from a building on Queen's Rd E, shows crowds of protestors marching to Hennessy Rd.

The filmer said: ''My reaction when seeing the protest was one of pride.

"To see so many people putting aside their differences and joining together to fight a common goal is inspiring and something one doesn’t often have the benefit of seeing.

"It was a truly remarkable event and one which I am thrilled to have been able to capture."
