Turtle with huge hump worshipped as deity in India

A poor lone turtle became an instant hit in India, after some fisherman caught it and considered its hunch as a moving Shivalinga, or sacred object.

The word spread in no time and all the locals came out to gather around it and started gushing over its miraculous appearance.

Rambali, one of the spectators, could not hold his euphoria and bought it for INR1000, though the fishermen were reluctant initially, the money solved the disagreement.
