Twenty Palestinians wounded in latest Gaza border clashes, says health ministry

Twenty Palestinians were injured on Friday (February 15) by live fire in clashes with Israeli forces along the Gaza border, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, local media reported.

Weekly protests began at the Israel-Gaza border fence in March in the southern Gaza Strip. Last week, two Palestinian teenagers died.

Video of the protest shows youths throwing projectiles and fleeing tear gas.

"The [Israeli] forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border," the filmer said.

Israel Police said a Border Police official was lightly wounded, according to one local report.
