Typhoon Lekima hits China's Taizhou seeing waves reach the height of five-storey buildings

This dramatic video captured the powerfull typhoon Lekima sending a sea wave to the same height of a five-storey building in eastern China.

In the video, shot in Taizhou city in Zhejiang province today (August 9), the wave at Dachen Island was sent up to the same heigh of a five-storey building by the strong wind.

Another dashcam video shows the extremely low visibility and the loud noise of the wind.

According to reports, the wind speed reached between 202km/h and 220km/h and it is the strongest typhoon this year.
