US Border Patrol filmed photographing journalists at border fence

Footage captured at the Tijuana-San Diego border from December 2018 shows a Border patrol agent photographing people, including journalists, on the other side of the fence.

Recently leaked documents revealed the US Government has been tracking journalists and immigration activists tied to the migrant caravan, NBC 7 reported.

''This is evidence that the information-gathering process stretched beyond the reported violence that occurred in November, which is the story currently being presented by Customs and Border Protection,'' the filmer said.

A migrant caravan from Central America made its way to the US-Mexico border in December 2018, prompting more intensive media coverage of the border.

Journalists covering the situation at the border, attorneys and advocates giving assistance to the caravan members later denounced intense inspections by border officials, and claim to have been ‘monitored’ by the US government.
