US firefighter rescues husky from train tracks and brings it home

A pet husky running along train tracks was rescued by vlogger-slash-firefighter Maxx Powell on a roadside in Washington.

Already filming for his YouTube channel, he says "I thought it would be interesting to film the encounter...I didn't want her traveling down the train tracks and potentially getting hit by a train or a car " when he rescued the dog on February 19.

A trip to the vets office revealed that Merlin was unchipped- prompting Maxx to take the dog home to his family and protective wife to the lost dog.

The stay was short, as the owners picked up the dog late that night after seeing one of the posts on social media.
