US kid sings hit single ‘Life is a Highway’ on stage with Rascal Flatts

This 10-year-old boy got a once in a lifetime opportunity of singing on stage to 20,000 people with the band Rascal Flatts.

The adorable clip filmed August 3 in the Ak-Chin Pavillion, Arizona shows Vedder up on stage with his favourite band singing “Life is a Highway,” from the Disney film "Cars" soundtrack.

Eric, Vedder's father, told Newsflare: “Our son Vedder lost his grandma last week and his greatest memory of her was singing Life is a Highway with her the whole car ride to Cars land at Disneyland.

“Singing this song on stage Rascal Flatts in front of 20,000 people less than a week after her funeral was such an amazing feeling for him. Music is his whole world."
