Video shows daily life of Venezuelan migrants in makeshift campsite in Colombia

Scores of Venezuelan migrants continue to arrive at Bogota fleeing the economic and political crisis in their country.

Footage documents the everyday life of Venezuelans in a makeshift camp situated at a park in the heart of the Colombian capital where at least 400 migrants live.

The clip shows police officers supervising the campsite formed by dozens of tents whilst social workers assist the families.

A group of migrants can be seen cooking and eating together as others play with a ball.

The United Nations says 2.3 million Venezuelans - 7 percent of population- have fled to neighbouring countries since the economic crisis started to deepen in 2015.

Venezuela is experiencing one of the worst crisis in its history with severe debt and hyperinflation.
