Wild bear loves to guzzle mango soft drink at Indian temple

Bears are normally terrifying and dangerous wild predators, but at this temple in central India one is happy to drink up mango juice offered by devotees and tourists.

The Chandi Devi temple rests in a forest in Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh state, and receives many worshippers during the month of October for a major festival.

Most famously however, a family of friendly wild bears lives nearby and after ceremonies are completed for the day, they accept food offerings from the priests and more often Mangola, a mango-flavoured soft drink, from willing tourists.

The bears are reportedly never violent and devotees can be seen in this video from October 18, taking selfies and photographs with the thirsty bears.
