Wild panda spotted running up mountain road in southern China

A wild giant panda was captured running up a road on Jiajin Mountain in southern China's Ya'an city on June 25.

In the dashcam clip, a wild panda quickly runs up the mountain road in front of a car, blocking the way.

After a while, it turned a corner and started climbing up the mountain before disappearing.

A passenger in the car said: "I did not know wild pandas could run so fast."

According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, pandas have been upgraded from "endangered" to "vulnerable".
