Winter Storm Bruce forces delays and cancellations at Chicago airport

Over 800 flights were cancelled on Sunday, November 25, as a major winter storm hit the Chicago area.

As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, 748 flights were cancelled out of O’Hare International Airport and 124 at Midway International Airport, local media reported. The winter storm is predicted to bring up to 12 inches of snow to northern Illinois, making one of the busiest travel days of the year even more difficult.

Other states in the midwest, including Michigan and Missouri, also experienced wintry conditions and will continue to into the week.
