World-famous Ice and Snow Festival kicks off in north Chinese city

The 35th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival kicked off last Saturday (January 5) in northern China.

In the clip, fireworks are set off and colourful lights are turned on, illuminating the giant ice sculptures, while lots of tourists can be seen playing on and sight-seeing around the area.

The festival opened with a theme of “The pearl on the crown of the ice and snow—Harbin” and it will not close until the end of February.
