Young elephant pranks older brother by stealing from his watering hole

A pair of young elephants were recorded in an amusing stand-off over a water hole in a National Park in South Africa.

The footage recorded at Kruger National Park shows a pair of elephant brothers drinking from water holes. However, the younger elephant decided that he wanted to have a drink from his bigger brother’s hole, something that the latter was not happy about.

What ensued was a cheeky stand-off in which the smaller elephant stubbornly continued to try and drink from the hole, despite his older brother pushing him away with his trunk.

The younger elephant did eventually seem to move away, but not before he gave his brother a mischievous backwards push with his rear.
