Brit tourist has incredible close encounter with pride of lionesses

British tourist Steve Haley was lucky to experience a very close encounter with a pride of majestic lionesses. Footage, captured in Kruger National Park in South Africa, shows the lionesses walking down a road and passing by just a few inches from the tourist’s car. Steve Haley later wrote online: "I witnessed this incredible Lion Pride encounter when I was driving past Kumana dam on my way back to Satara campsite where I was spending 8 weeks alone camping in the park. ''I was completely alone and this was the first time I had witnessed anything like this and to see how big these beautiful big cats were up close was insane and a once in a lifetime moment. ''I didn't know what to do. I'm glad I froze and stayed and continued filming.'' The clip was captured on September 1.
