Dawn breaks over ring of autumnal trees in the Peak District in breathtaking drone footage
Incredible drone footage shows dawn breaking over a ring of trees on Minninglow in the White Peak area of the Peak District.
Minninglow is the largest cairn in the Peak District, and is a famous landmark visible for miles.
Filmer Rod Kirkpatrick explained, “The Low originally began life as a single chamber with a small mound comprised mainly of limestone. It was later covered by a long cairn with four chambers and later still converted into a massive circular mound, perhaps during the Bronze Age,”
