Derbyshire's overflowing rivers turn pathways into a stream after being hit by severe rainfall

Flash floods hit most of the north of England this week, causing severe damage to properties and roads across the region.

Footage, filmed on July 31, shows the River Wye bursting from its banks in Buxton, Derbyshire causing the pathways to be covered in water, resembling a river more than a path.

“Buxton Derbyshire River Wye burst its banks, causing several road closures,” the filmer, Jake, told Newsflare.
