Dramatic fire breaks out on mountainside in China's Hebei

A dramatic mountain fire broke out in northern China after a local resident burned some abandoned copper cables and sparked the conflagration.

In the video of the scene, shot in Qinhuangdao City in Hebei Province yesterday (April 3), the sky turned yellow after being covered with the thick smoke, while bright flames can be seen engulfing the mountains.

Firefighters and fire engines were dispatched to the site and the fire has since been put out.

The suspect was arrested and no casualties were reported.
