Football fans play kick-about during traffic gridlock on closed M1

These football fans made the best of gridlock traffic on the M1 by kicking around a plastic water bottle and using sweaters as goal posts.

The filmer said around ten people joined in to form the teams as well as "Derby fans were singing to each other and the young girls were practising their moves around the parked cars," during the traffic jam on May 27.

The filmer added: "The game ended after about 10/15 minutes when it started raining heavily and everyone returned to their vehicles. Some of the young girls continued to dance around in the rain."
