Great white shark breaches with seal in its jaws
Tourists on board a cage diving boat witnessed a great white shark catching a seal while breaching from the water.
Footage captured today (October 29) in Mossel Bay, South Africa shows the shark splashing around the water, then breaching the surface while attacking a seal in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Shark watcher Elton Polly says “The attack was over in a matter of seconds and the seal was never seen again, showing why the shark is the apex predator in the waters around Mossel Bay.”
